Captures the beautiful Pilbara region. The stunning sunsets and wildlife. You're always bound to see a majestic Wedge-tail Eagle once in a while. The eagle gets a view of the land as he flies over, seeing the creeks lined by ghost gums, the different sites and places of meaning to the local people, the clouds that bring in those summer rains..
Represents our home and its beautiful surrounds.
Wagyl the rainbow serpent. Carer of our freshwater sources. Commissioned.
This was a commissioned painting representing a journey from overseas to a new found home, our home.
The artwork shows a group of women, sitting, sharing the stories. Not only is the rock itself significant, the area also has so many other sacred places and dreaming trails surrounding the area. All these places link up to create the stories and knowledge of this magical place. This is shown through the multiple circles all mingled together. The big pathways represent the journeys people travel to get to Uluru, to marvel at its beauty, listen to its significance, fall in love with it.
